This space was restored from a set of houses built in the 19th century for migrants from the North of Portugal. Known locally as "islands", these types of spaces played an important role in the formation of a community identity, serving as a point of resistance and socialization for the less privileged, as well as promoting family ties and friendships. This restoration thus preserves the familial and traditional atmosphere of the city. By combining original architecture with contemporary design, we optimize indoor and outdoor spaces for an even more pleasant experience.
